Ich will stark sein für das, was ich lieb- egal was passiert

Ich will stark sein — wie tief ich auch sink, ich bieg’s wieder hin

Manchmal lass ich mich einfach runterziehen

Es gibt so Tage, da will man nur noch fliehen —

Folgt seinen Betäubungsstrategien

Manchmal hab ich keinen Hauch Tatendrang

Dass ich am Morgen schon den Abend kaum erwarten kann

Ironie!

Sind doch meistens gerade dann die Nächte kurz und die Tage lang

Doch wie sehr ich auch die Lust verlier:

Ich weiß immer, irgendwann werde ich das Licht wieder sehn

Denn irgendwas hält mich wach, gibt mir Kraft und sagt mir

Ich bin auf dem richtigen Weg

Ich will stark sein für das, was ich lieb- egal was passiert

Ich will stark sein — wie tief ich auch sink, ich bieg’s wieder hin

Manchmal weiß ich nicht, wohin mit meiner Zeit

Und alles zieht an mir vorbei

Sogar der Ausweg ist zu weit

Ich sperr mich ein in Selbstmitleid

Manchmal denk ich bloß noch, ich sitze fest und komm nicht klar

Bin ständig ungeduldig und gestresst und kurz davor, dass die

Dämme brechen

Doch ich komm raus, da kann ich noch so in der Klemme stecken

Denn wenn ich fall, kann ich mir wieder fangen

Ich steh nicht still, bis ich mein Ziel erlang

Ich werde Aufstieg erleben und auch Niedergang

Doch niemals verlier ich diesen Kampf!

Even the way out is too far

I lock myself in self-pity

Sometimes I just think I'm stuck and can't cope

Am constantly impatient and stressed and about to die

But I'll get out, I can still be in a tight spot

Because if I fall, I can catch myself again

I will not stand still until I attain my goal

I will experience rise and fall

But I'll never lose this fight!
