So time has reached its tireless goal

Ahead outstretched my path unfolds

Down into the depths of hell

I’ve seen enough I might as well

Through the circles of fire and stone

To the castle of blood and bone

Lucifer in all his power

A waist me in my judgment hour

Where the beats feast on skin

The brittle leaves are black not green

See the mark of St. Augustine

I meet them here the poets in men

And the crimes for which they can’t defend

The blood of sin

We shed our rags and dive right in

And sink beneath the waves of fire

And feel innocence expire
