Ночь - Машина времени

Ночь — черная река, длиной на века.

Смотри, как эта река широка.

Если берега принять за рассвет,

То будто дальнего берега нет.

И переправа непроста,

И нет ни брода, ни моста,

Лишь только лодка в два весла.

Я утро берегу на том берегу,

Но до него я доплыть не могу.

Лодка в два весла меня бы спасла,

Вот только весла река унесла.

И нас несло в большой воде,

И нам не видно в темноте,

Что берега уже не те.

Night is a black river, long for centuries.

Look how wide this river is.

If the shores are taken for dawn,

As if there is no distant shore.

And the crossing is not easy

And there is no ford, no bridge,

Only a boat with two oars.

I shore the morning on that shore,

But I can't swim to it.

A boat with two oars would have saved me,

But the river carried away the oars.

And we were carried in the big water,

And we can't see in the dark

That the shores are no longer the same.
