Nach der treppe kam die leiter

Und nach der leiter kam' die wolken

Dann hieß es fliegen oder runterstolpern

Somehow it kept going

After the stairs came the ladder

I switched somewhere

From maverick to autopilot

I just floated along as long as I could

And I forgot who I wanted to be

And "nothing to do" became "no more time"

Lost overview in babysteps

Blind tunnel vision — I see that now

Alien reflection in the bathroom

But my core was there — always

The real me — I want to show you

But I can't describe it with just words
