Я шел спокойно вниз

По течению реки

И другом был мне бриз

И были весла легки

И я решил, что беда

Так и пройдет стороной,

Как вдруг, большая вода

Сошла с ума подо мной

Ты — водопад передо мной на пути

Ты — водопад — не переплыть, не пройти

Ты — водопад, я покоряюсь судьбе

Уйти я был бы рад, но меня уже несет к тебе

Я бил веслом по воде,

А по веслу бил рукой

Мне хотелось расставаться

Со спокойной рекой

Я растерял якоря,

Рукой коряги хватал,

И вдруг я понял — все зря

И сразу очень устал

И тут я сделался лих

И даже как-то удал,

Я хохотал, словно псих

И громко песни орал

Корма еще на плаву,

А нос — над бездной завис

Еще секунду — живу

И тут же кубарем вниз
