Maa oli märkä ja tumma

Ja taivas kuin sokerilientä

Mun suussa maistui kardemumma ja kahvi

Me käveltiin pellon viertä

Kun mentiin seuraamaan auringonpimennystä

Aamulla varhain kun suu on kuiva ja iho höyryää

Ja silloin painauduin sinuun niinkuin auringon syleilyyn ui kuu

Ja sä kuiskasit vielä meidän avulla maailma pelastuu

Ja jos en muuta niin sen tiedän et sinä hetkenä rakastin

Kun päivä oli nuori ja ihanasti sekaisin

Tuuli hyväili nuorta viljaa

Niin arkaa ja vaaleanvihreää

Me seistiin aivan hiljaa

Mä tuskin uskalsin hengittää

Jossain kauempaa kuunneltiin radiosta

Tietoja kuusta ja miltä näyttää varhaisaamun sää
