Defy - Magnitude

Every time I close my eyes I just can’t help but reflect

On the destruction that becomes so commonplace

And is pushed aside time after time

It’s so hard to ignore and I won’t let it continue

An erosion of morality that wears away at life itself

I stand to defy

I reject the ignorance

I reject the lies

I reject the bloodshed and a cycle I despise
