Als ich damals anfing zu schreiben gab’s ein einfaches Ziel

Euch zu zeigen ich bin einer wie ihr

Du bist nicht allein

Und wenn alleine, dann alleine mit mir

Wir sind eigentlich viel, viel mehr

Doch hier sitz ich heut allein vor’m Papier

Und mich beschleicht das Gefühl außer mir ist keiner mehr hier

Die sitzen grillend im Garten

Erinnernd den wilden Tagen

Damals wollte ich nach meinen Konzerten

Jeden Penner durch die Straßen ziehen und Scheiben einwerfen seh’n

Doch es ist nie passiert

Warum hab ich wohl 7 Jahre für ein Album gebraucht

Man, ich war deprimiert

Alle schreien lauthals: «Wir folgen dir blind!»

Wenn ich auf dem Fenstersims stehe und frage: «Kommt jemand mit?»

Doch dann spring ich tatsächlich

Und sie blicken entsetzt hinter mir her

Und sagen: «Woohh, damit hätt' ich nicht gerechnet!»

But then I actually jump
