El Coronel - Luis Coronel

Cuando me llego la noticia que mi padre fallecio,

empeze a jalar el cuerno como el me lo encargo,

para recordar momentos que con el pasaba yo.

Eran la seis de la manana cuando mi tio me

dijo que mataron a mi padre, yo no le habia creido

hasta que llego mi madre y dijo que no seguia vivo.

Es muy feo perder un padre y feo dejar un hijo pero

la vida es muy corta as como el siempre nos dijo,

sus ultimas palabras fueron «cudate mucho mi nio.»

Y esto es para usted jefito donde quiera que

se encuentre en mi mente siempre lo llevare, y puro coronel.

No hay manera de olvidarlo siempre estubo alli conmigo

en la buenas y en las malas desde que yo eran

un chiquillo no hay reclamos en la vida mas que matar al maldito.

A los dos les agradesco por saber como cuidarme,

no rajarmele a cualquiera es herencia de mi padre,

sigue con la frente en alto son palabras de mi madre,

el se encuentra ya en las nubes con el senor de los cielos

guarda mucho los momentos y tambien bellos recuerdos,

un saludo pa mi padre espero y pronto nos vemos.

When I got the news that my father passed away,

I started to pull the horn as he ordered it,

to remember moments that I spent with him.

It was six o'clock in the morning when my uncle

He said that they killed my father, I had not believed him

until my mother arrived and she said that he was not still alive.

It is very ugly to lose a father and it is ugly to leave a child, but

life is very short as he always told us,

His last words were "Take good care of my child."

And this is for you little boss wherever

is in my mind I will always wear it, and pure colonel.

There's no way to forget him he was always there with me

through thick and thin since I was

a child there are no claims in life other than to kill the damned.

I thank you both for knowing how to take care of me,
