Llegó volando el cuervo sobre mi suelo

Para sembrar las ruinas y el desconsuelo

Durante largos siglos los yanaconas

Le entregaron las llaves de la corona.

Durante largos siglos fue ensangrentando

El suelo de los pueblos que iba violando

Perforando las tierras de la labranza

Para escarbar el oro de la templanza.
