Jeden Morgen - Letzte Instanz

Jeden Morgen, wenn der neue Tag anbricht,

steh ich auf und zieh meine Sachen an.

Und wenn ich die Fenster öffne, frag"ich mich: «Läuft das heute, oder läuft es.

nicht?"

Und dabei fühl ich ganz genau,

da muss doch irgendetwas sein.

Einen Sinn für mich, in dieser Welt, zu leben.

Und als Erstes sagt man mir, wo"s langgeht — abgesegnet, keine Diskussion.

Doch man sagt mir nicht, wozu das gut sein soll.

Werd ich noch gebraucht… in diesem Spiel?

Und geht das so weiter?

Ist das auszuhalten?

Tag für Tag und Jahr… für Jahr.

Eines Tages wird mein Sohn mich fragen:

«Was hast du aus deiner Zeit gemacht?»

Every morning when the new day dawns

I get up and put my things on.

And when I open the window, I ask myself: «Is it working today, or is it working?

And I feel very well

there must be something.

A purpose for me to live in this world.

And the first thing I'm told is where to go — sanctioned, no discussion.

Am I still needed... in this game?

And does it continue like this?

Is that bearable?
