Как странно видеть города

В пустынных окнах звёзды тают

И опечаленные знают

Где молча прячется беда

Какие странные пути

Сомненья жалки и ничтожны

И нам представить невозможно

Что кто-то должен их пройти

Но кто-то должен их сберечь

Идя в огонь сквозь воду трубы

И счастьем тронутые губы

Не слышно скажут: «Дайте меч»

И нить надежды разрубить

И как всегда рукой коснуться,

Но лишь бы только не проснуться

Как в старой сказке

Жить да жить

How strange to see cities

In the deserted windows the stars are melting

And the sad ones know

Where trouble silently hides

What strange ways

Doubts are pitiful and insignificant

And it's impossible for us to imagine

That someone has to go through them

But someone has to save them

Walking into the fire through the water pipe

And happy lips

Inaudibly they will say: "Give me the sword"

And cut the thread of hope

And, as always, touch with your hand,

But if only not to wake up

Like in an old fairy tale
