Years ago, when I was young

I grew up with so much fun

That safe place that was called home

Now I’ve reached an age

I am on my own

Happiness and joy of life

Where has it gone

Things have changed since I was young

Always knew where I belong

There’s one wish inside my mind

If I just could turn back time.

Never thought of what will come

Day by day toward the sun

Kept the smile on my face

Free as a little bird

In everything I’ve done

Detachement without any fear
