Within the walls of a broken home

He closes his eyes

Won’t see

How she cries in memories

She begs him to stay

He mumbles go away!

Her rainy eyes must see

That he buried all memories

When comes the time forget?

To regret?

She’s knocked out of her stride

In unity with shame… with blame
