The light, it shines beyond the city

Reaching to the highest point beyond the night sky

I lie awake, while everything around me

Quickly fades away―I don’t know why

Just like a fluid of lighter

The burning sensation of emotion holds me

I wish the lie was a fire

That’s set aflame, undoing the pain that I dealt

But in a dream where I held your neck in my own two hands

I watched as all the color would fade away from your lovely eyes

Through all the tears flowing from my heart deep inside…

Taking a leap of faith I might be renewed

In the pure and beautiful angelic sapphire light

I’ll find a way to clear all my sin inside the ambient blue

The steps, the sounds of climbing

Coming from the other side of the veranda, I hear

And watching them above, high in the sky

The clouds and darkness in my room now appear
