Monta myrskyä oon saanut läpi soutaa

Jotka tahtoneet on purttain ravistaa

On käsi uurteinen ja siinä tuoppi huurteinen

Kun huulilleni jälleen nyt sen vien

Läpi usvan hämärän, jo kaipaan poutaa

Outo voima sisimpääni vavistaa

On essäin huominen ja uudenlaisen luominen

Sillä loppuun olen kulkenut tän tien

Jossain virtaa vielä kosket ja toisenlaiset veet

Joiden rantaan puhtaaseen vie askeleet

Vielä joskus löydän tähden, jota seuraamaan mä lähden

Kuinka pilkkanaurut satuttaakin sentää

Kokenut vain voi yksin ymmärtää

Vaik' polvillani oon, niin taivas vaikka ilkkukoon

En ikuisesti tähän enää jää

Tulevaa en turhaan enää pelkää

Nyt jo riittää saavat kokemukset nää

On jalan alla maa, se vihdoin mua jo kannattaa

Mielin nöyrin tahdon vielä yrittää

The hand is grooved and the pint is frosty

When I take it to my lips again now

Through the twilight of the fog, I already miss the rain

A strange force shakes my innermost being

It is tomorrow’s creation and a new kind of creation

For to the end I have walked this road

Somewhere there are still rapids and other kinds of waters

Which takes you to the clean beach

I still sometimes find a star that I am going to follow

For a different kind of water flows somewhere

How mocking the laughter hurts

Experienced alone can understand

Even on my knees, so heaven may be

I will not stay here forever

I am no longer afraid of the future

Now it is enough to have experience

There is land under my feet, it is finally worth it to me

I still humble myself to try
