Kdybych byl malířem slunečných strání,

měl bych Tě s vějířem a s pousmáním

a věř mi dlouho mám ten pocit i když ho skrývám.

Protože moje píseň nemá zlatý rám,

tak patří dívčím snům a patří dětským hrám,

je v ní i obraz Tvůj i svět, co mám tak rád,

to všechno lásko bych Ti nemoh nikdy dát

obrazem s vějířem, kdybych byl malířem.

Kdybych byl malířem hlubokých tůní

měl bych svět z barev jen, bez jeho vůní,

tak se Ti omlouvám, že jenom zpívám

a věř mi dlouho mám ten pocit i když ho skrývám.

Protože moje píseň nemá zlatý rám,

tak patří dívčím snům a patří dětským hrám,

je v ní i obraz Tvůj i svět co mám tak rád,
