Ich erinn’re mich gut an die Zeit unterm Dach,

den Ofen, Mama und mich

Und träumte ich schlecht, dann rief sie mich wach,

daß das Böse schnell von mir wich

kroch tiefer ich in ihren Schoß

Und der Wolf konnt' mir nichts und die Hex' war verbrannt

und ich war gleich stark und groß
