Muistan syksyn ensihetken

Kun kesä nukkui hiljaa pois

Sanoit että pienen retken

Ominpäin kai tehdä vois

Kun on niin paljon katseltavaa

On pakko uskaltaa

Ei hyppyä tuntemattomaan

Voi tehdä askel kerrallaan

Ei ollenkaan

Olisitpa täällä kun on syksy

Ja mun mieleni sohjoinen

Se näitä teitäni sulkee

Eikä edes keväällä

Tunnu kääntyvän tämä tuuleni pohjoinen

Vaan se kauttani kulkee

Muistan syksyn ensi hetken

Sinä teet ja se aikaa viedä vois

Silloin joutuu lähtemään

Kun ei pysty ollenkaan

Lähtemästä kieltäytymään
