I was standing on the mountain with the sun on my back

And the shadow I was casting made the world seem black

I felt I’d been down every alley

Beaten down every door

Till I could barely account for what I’d been looking toward

And then she took a turn into my record store

And I knew I wasn’t gonna have to look anymore
