Ich laufe durch die Straßen

Ein falsches Lächeln

Er zieht die Spritzer auf und geht

Vorne an der Brücke

Fäuste fliegen, leises schluchzen

Ziemlich spät

Und ich endlich am Klavier

Schreib ein paar Zeilen

Letzte Kippe, langer Tag

Und ja ich weiß, dass das alles nicht so schwer ist

Die Wunden heilen die Zeit

Es wär so leicht es zu verdrängen

Ja ich weiß, dass es irgendwann mal aufhört

Ich steige aus der 14

Grelle Screens, mal wieder 100 Tote irgendwo

Ich treff dich auf 'nen Kaffee an der Ecke

Du kommst lächelnd auf mich zu

Wir reden über gestern, deine Freunde

Doch ich komm längst nicht hinterher

Ja ich weiß, dass das alles nicht so schwer ist

You approach me smiling
