I’m driving home

My baby calls

Just wants to tell me that she loves me

The clear blue skies

They feed my eyes

Its beautiful as far as I can see

Then reality hits, I wake up from this dream

My baby’s really pissed at me

And the sky is covered in rain

So many things are going on

But I’m gonna keep on going strong and

I’m gonna be ok

I get to work and,

I walk in smiling

Cuz for once I’m right on time

Boss looks up, what could it be

Says I was supposed to be there at 9

Then reality hits and I’m four hours late,

Looks like I made a big mistake,

So I guess I’ll just kiss this job goodbye
