The time

Loyally slipping out her window

Fireworks erupting in the dark

Cause even though she’s read about the chemical reaction’s action

She’d never stood and watched and seen the sparks

Alexander wrestles with the darkness

Shadows in the quiet of his mind

His victory’s a rhapsody of loneliness and apathy

That slyly stood beside him all the time

And so it shows

Some ancient winds and whispers

In the night

To his young ears

And though

Feeling like the color and the light

Streaming tears

Burning bright

The panic of this life it drifts between them

A valiant status found when worlds collide

In time it slows to nothing

Reaching outward to the edge

And late at night their dreams are intertwined

And so we go

Dance upon an ocean to return

To his young years

And flow

Back into the ocean to discern

All his fears

Will go

And everything we breathe is what we burn

All these fears we sow

Seeds of something

All we ever heard

All returns

On and on

And so she goes

Streamers catch

Flashing in the night

The only one still with him

All the time
