social system designed to incarcerate my mind, my body, and my soul

I am more than my blackness

I am my compassion

I am my sensitivity

I am the cumulation of every second, minute, hour, day, week, month, year,

and decade, on this big ball of mud we call the planet earth

I am more than my blackness

I am my humanity

I am universal oneness, chi, ki, spirit, soul, essence, quintessence,

life force, psyche, aura, god!

I am more than my blackness

And although I am more than my blackness, I love my blackness

I revere my blackness, I embrace my blackness, I understand my blackness

But, I am more than my blackness

I am more than blackness, like you a more than your Whiteness, Asianess,

Arabness, or any otherness we decide to make ourselves that separates us from

what we really are

I am a son, a brother, cousin, uncle, nephew, a human being

I am more than my blackness

I am me!
