Die ganze Nacht das Licht?

Weil du wie ich nicht schlafen kannst?

Den Schädel gegen Mauern rammst

Die Geister nicht vertreiben kannst?

Die Schwermut hat sich zu tief eingebrannt

In eine Seele, die sich nach dir sehnt

So wie ein Schiff in Not

Sich nach dem sicheren Uferstrand

Ich komm, sobald ich kann

Wer das Glück nur in der Ferne sucht

Der hat sein Leben selbst verflucht

Mein Kind, bei all dem Fernweh

Darfst du eins nicht übersehen

Die Ferne, die ist niemals da

Wo wir gerade stehen

Die Bäume ziehen schwarz an mir vorbei

Und schauen betreten auf die Autobahn
