— Sittlichkeit als Chimäre

Intellekt entpuppt sich als Illusion

-Fortschritt als Wiederholung

Die ewige Wiederkunft des Gleichen

— selbst der Poet spricht mit gespaltener Zunge

Flows in the veins of this world

Keeps the circuit alive

Fallen back on our instincts

— Morality as a chimera

Intellect turns out to be an illusion

-Progress as repetition

The eternal return of the same

— even the poet speaks with forked tongue
