On the edge one stands no choice but to play their changes

Each thought it screams as the future lures and dances

What’s to find in something so close denying

The fact you can see that its all someone’s evil hoax you’re buying

Never safe from the wind

Changes blowing again

No kingdom lies beyond the threat of ruin

It seems less like life and more like time you’re doin'

Familiar times and places in the distance

You pray god and mankind may lead their assistance

Well I’m always looking tricked by misconception

You thought you had it then missed your connection

Just one plea if it is me

Then can I feel the way I felt before

And so now I’m running in my own direction

And all my options weighed with close inspection

Then can I glide on wings I had before
