It’s like I’m drifting

Lost in space and time

In this place that I call home

A veil between two worlds that none can see

I reach out into the vast emptiness

And smile with sad eyes

I’m drowning in a sea of my own thoughts

Where none will stray

Searching for stars in the day

At night they seem to fade away

Searching for light in the grey

Searching for the answers

Pain will take control

(Throughout my veins travels fire)

The wind and the rain broke free
