My sweet deception lays me down

As I commit myself to sleep again

Inhale as it all becomes much clearer

Misleading connections

Struggle not to be attached

Unbroken but wrong

Trapped in a room of my own reflections

Now that my failures lay to bare

I will embrace the mist again

Exhale as my breathe fails to hold the weight of all this guilt

Exhaustion has filled my lungs

Filled my bones

I feel so grounded I barely can move

Barely can breathe

Barely can be at all

So much weight

I’m giving it up

My deceptions have laid me down

So I commit myself back to sleep

Forget the rage, embrace restraints

It’s time I breathe again

Reaching senseless conclusions

Repeating the same old blind reactions

Another ever pointless eruption

I’m lost within myself

Let it commence

My everlasting penitence

That’s nothing but dismissed

Like I was sand

Slipping under my fingers

Time keeps flowing away

Makes me lose track of myself

My echo keeps coming back

My senses fade to black
