Es ist noch nicht vorbei

bin noch nicht drüber weg

Es braucht doch viel mehr Zeit

das hab' ich unterschätzt

Hab' es mit meinem Kopf

schon ganz gut hingekriegt

Nur mein Herz zögert noch

es zieht einfach nicht mit

Da wird man morgens früh wach

geht in die Küche und macht

immer noch Tee für zwei

Liest seine Zeitung und merkt

es fehlt der Mensch den das stört

jemand der fragt muss das sein

Und man geht durch die Zimmer

schließt die Augen und denkt

Ist doch alles wie immer

und doch irgendwie fremd

Es ist noch nicht vorbei

jeder kennt dieses Gefühl

Dabei sieht’s schon so aus

als hätt' man alles im Griff

Und man hat schon geglaubt

man wär' raus aus dem Tief

Hat es endlich geschafft

sich von allem zu befrei’n

Und steht eines Morgens auf

und macht doch Frühstück für zwei

Es ist noch nicht vorbei

noch lange nicht vorbei

You wake up early in the morning

goes into the kitchen and makes

still tea for two

Reads his newspaper and notices

the person who is disturbed is missing

it must be someone who asks

And you walk through the rooms

close your eyes and think

It's all the same as always

and yet somehow strange

It's not over yet

everyone knows this feeling

It already looks like this

as if you had everything under control

And one has already believed

one would be out of the deep

Finally made it

to get rid of everything

And gets up one morning

and makes breakfast for two
