Ripe like coriander grown in his back yard I grew like your hatred grew for me

Smooth like alabaster stone you drew me to you and then you pushed me away

Caged with feathers clipped I loved to sing to you until i knew I’d never be

set free

Kleptomaniac he took me from my world to see if he could take me at all

Young like tulip bulbs you left me in the cold and told me I should grow on my
