Wenn ich stumm am Bettrand sitz

Und am liebsten weiterschlief

Das ist klarer Widersinn

Während ich noch müde bin

So klar wie die Luft am Meer

Und ich käme weiß Gott nie

Auch bei aller Fantasie

Auf die Idee, dass da etwas unklar wär

Jeder Augenblick ist wie ein Anfang

Und ein Tag, der gerad' beginnt;

Ich kann wirklich nichts dafür

Aber jedes Mal ist mir

Als ob wir zwei eben aufgestanden sind
