Kauan sitten tattikauden alkuaikoina

Nousi metsäkansan johtajaksi tosi tyhmä sika

Ei koskaan töissä auttanut ja aina murjotti

Ja arvokkaimmat tryffelitkin itsellensä hamusi

Viimein kansa harmistui ja pääti erottaa

Possun johtotehtävistä ja vaihtaa parempaan

Nyt Tattimetsän valtias on suuri sammakko

Sil on päässä hassu hattu, pieni kukkamaljakko

Tattimetsän valtias on aina iloinen

Vaik ulkomuoto ei oo kovin kunikaallinen

Nyt kannon päällä heiluttaa se tiskiharjavaltikkaa

Ja kansalaisiaan näin huudattaa
