Mir zittern noch vor Schreck die Knie

Soeben las ich schwarz auf weiß

Hat das nicht schlimme Konsequenzen?

Die Zukunft hatte bislang grenzen

Doch wenn man wieder planen kann

Was fängt man mit der Zukunft an?

Wir fühlten uns ganz schön bedroht

Und das, weiß Gott, nicht ohne Grund

Und nun schreibt plötzlich ein Idiot

Die ganze Welt ist kerngesund

Heißt das, es gibt jetzt doch ein Morgen?

Damit verbunden, neue Sorgen

Irrt nun der Mensch ziellos umher

So wie ein Lemming ohne Meer?

Die Welt ist auf den Kopf gestellt

Durch diesen schrecklichen Bericht

Denn, wenn die Bombe doch nie fällt

Bringt uns das aus dem Gleichgewicht

Jetzt wird mir wieder angst und bang'

Wo führt das hin, wo geht 's jetzt lang?

Wo bleibt die Lust am Untergang?
