in this town where I grew up there were 50.000 women

but not one was qualified enough to fulfil the love I’d live with

and I know I ain’t no easy ride but my pride is my condition

to find what the eyes prefer in line and to choose from all the beautie

so I saddled my stallion took a big black hat

entered that wicked wide world

to look for the perfect girl and to see what I was really worth
