In het woud gezworen - Heidevolk

In het heilige woud het donkere ketelwoud

Was het deze nacht verre van stil

Op de open plek kwamen zij bijeen

Stamhoofden uit 't west- en noorderland

Van verre aangereisd hielden zij nu raad

Wat is het lot wat is de Godenwil

Onrust groeide er de onvrede was sterk

De maat is vol 't is tijd voor wederstand
