Er kündigt mir die Nacht an

Während das Licht der Sonne mit vermeintlich noch den Weg weist

Düstere Gedanken machen sich breit

Das Bedürfnis Eins mit dem Staub der Straße zu werden

Eins mit dem Sand der Zeit

Leere erfüllt mich

Ich blicke in die vor Verzerrung entstellten Gesichter totäugiger Gestalten

Sklaven ihrer Sucht und ihrer Sinne und frage mich

Wie bin ich hierher gelangt?

Und vor allem: Wie komme ich hier wieder weg?

Dark thoughts spread

The need to become one with the dust of the road

One with the sands of time

emptiness fills me

I look into the distorted faces of dead-eyed figures

Slaves to their addiction and their senses and wonder

How did I get here?

And above all: How do I get out of here?
