Mein Mast ist gebrochen, mein Schiff steht still

Noch schlimmer: Treibt schon seit Wochen wohin ich nicht will

Ohne jede Aussicht auf den kleinsten Erfolg

Ist es schwer, wenn man aufbricht zu tun, was man soll

Doch je schlechter es aussieht, desto mehr schöpf' ich Kraft

Aus dem geringsten Auftrieb, den ich noch hab

Je auswegsloser es scheint, desto wichtiger ist

Dafür offen zu sein, wenn Zuversicht spricht

Da ist Land in Sicht, Rettung in der Not

Niemand kann mich zerstören, selbst der Tod

Übermannt mich nicht, das Oberste Gebot

Geübt mit der Meute wittert man schon

Wenn man leichte Beute ist für alles, was kommt

Die Chancen sind dünn, doch wer es nicht wagt

Wenn GOTT es befiehlt würd ich dich lieben aber ich kann dich leiden wie die

Pest

Und mir halt einfach einfach net vorstellen, dass Er mich an dir scheitern lässt

Und es ist bestimmt kein Leichtsinn wenn ich sag

Dass ich von innen drin reich bin und dass der Herr mein Hirte ist denn er gab

mir nie Grund daran zu zweifeln

Und dass die Zeiten hier tight sind is Nebensächlichkeit weil alle Lyrik der

Welt eh Wack ist die nicht das Leben beschreibt

Da sind’n paar harte Fakten die sind einfach nicht zu leugnen und du merkst

schon nach paar Takten, dass es schwer wird mich zu beugen

Manche träumen, manche ham es

Und manche ham es nicht GOTT ist groß und so kann ich — da ist Land in Sicht —
