Quando i miei vennero a prendermi in orfanotrofio

Avevo circa quattro anni, e non parlavo proprio

Mi portarono a Milano, in casa dei miei nonni

All’asilo ero diverso da tutti i compagni

Mi vestiva e stavo tutti i giorni dalla nonna

Facevo «ciao» con la mia mano guardando la tomba

Poi è passato qualche anno, e Dio senza motivo

Ha guardato giù di nuovo, e mandò un invito

A mia madre, per un party esclusivo

Tipo dalle sue parti, in paradiso

Ed è banale dirti che mi manchi ormai
