Irgendwann werden alle verschwunden sein, die jetzt auf der Erde leben.

Alle ohne Ausnahme, und dann wird es andere geben.

Die werden sich lieben, die werden sich hassen, und oft mit viel bla-bla

und manche werden wie immer fragen: «Wozu sind wir eigentlich da?»

Als ob das so großartig wäre, nach dieser Erkenntnis zu streben.

Ein Auto ist zum Fahren da, und Wir wahrscheinlich zum Leben.

Vielleicht sind wir nur ein Abfallprodukt von kosmischen Prozessen.

Vielleicht wird durch unser Verhalten, ein fernes Fieber gemessen.

Vielleicht ist die Sonne eigentlich irgendwo der letzte Schrei,

Und wir sind dabei auch entstanden, aber mehr so nebenbei.

In Träumen ist es manchmal leicht, die Schwerkraft aufzuheben.

Die Blumen sind zum Blühen da, und Wir wahrscheinlich zum Leben.

Und was Wir mit Sicherheit wissen, wir sind so groß und so klein,

und die ganze Menschheit ist im Weltall relativ allein.

Und den halt den wir so brauchen, wie die Liebe und so andere Gründe,

den können wir wenn überhaupt, bei anderen Menschen finden.

Und wenn das alles Unsinn ist, damit kann ich leben,

nur wer aufgehoben ist, kann auch andere heben.

Eventually, everyone who is now living on earth will be gone.

All without exception, and then there will be others.

They will love each other, they will hate each other, and often with a lot of bla-bla

and some will ask, as always: «What are we actually here for?»

As if that were so great to strive for that realization.

A car is for driving, and we probably for living.

Perhaps we are just a by-product of cosmic processes.

Perhaps our behavior will measure a distant fever.

Maybe the sun is all the rage somewhere,

And we also came into being, but more by the way.

In dreams it is sometimes easy to break gravity.

The flowers are there to bloom, and we are probably there to live.

And what we know for sure, we are so big and so small,

and all mankind is relatively alone in space.

And the hold that we need, like love and such other reasons,

we can find that, if at all, in other people.

And if this is all nonsense, I can live with that

only those who are lifted can also lift others.
