In the moment

Patiently waiting

I had word attached to word

But it didn’t come to something

In the blue light

The vessels float around

A hollow departure

Just to mean some kind of sound

The day won’t come

Until I’m ready for it

So I don’t beg

Sleep and water

Don’t change a thing

There is no order

To try to fix

Is there a reason

In one tilt of the head

I see the face but

I was looking for the shape

I saw the big dipper

At my window

But I didn’t know

It was a pegasus
