Obsession, compulsion, the name of the game

Collapsing, distracting, is no one to blame

Avenging, repenting, to hide from the shame

Affliction, addiction, a curse all the same

Concerning, observing, the world in my eyes

The savior, behavior, alone no surprise

Aggression, confession, I’m sick of the lies

Rewinding and finding there is no reprise

It’s hurting deep inside, the feeling I can’t hide

The danger when I find the death wish in my mind

The violence in the end, the guilt I can’t pretend

I never did intend the death wish I defend
