Blind enough to sense the light

Envelopes faster than I could fathom

Dissipating in spiteful fashion

Dark filters descension numbs

As something wicked this way succumbs

I’m the pagan ghost at end of the bed

Voyeuristic envy consuming inches off spines while you slept

I’m called by fire. I gotta seed planted in my head

I ain’t one to waste the devil’s grace no matter how patient he is

I’m half way to hell, fully past regret

I’m not afraid to touch the flame even though there’s gas soaking through my

Erase my name, let memory decay on it’s own

Just promise to watch me burn

I’ll burrow a hole when I crash land

Hollow out the embers till my finger nails split and crack

Incinerate repeat and cauterize

I’m south bound but northern minded

Admiring heaven’s floor and how the fallen designed it

Almost arrived still not quite upset
