Time Heals - Fired Up

I spent so much time in the past

Wishing that — I could go back

I thought I could make a change somehow

With all these things — I know now

Just these thoughts — again and again

The what if’s or what could’ve beens

Time heals all wounds

But the scars — still show through

What I saw, said or did

It is what it is

And I can’t help it

But it still hurts to look

Back on some things

And wish they were somehow

Done differently

Wrapped up in the past I couldn’t see what I had

I need to let go of what’s holding me back

Let these memories fade

Cause I’m looking out — on better days
