Despite the rings around my eyes,

you can always find me eating the velvet hearts

of everyone who never seemed to care.

A vacation under black clouds, time escapes me.

Coughing out caved organs, time escapes me.

I swim in the oceans where you thought I’d drown.

And I sleep on the cold ground that you hoped I’d belong

to by now.

But it rains heavily on me.

Well… drag me to the ocean.

It’s better than you, it’s better than me,

it’s better than anything that you believe.

It’s better than dreams of you on your knees,

and everyone here is in shambles.
