Gewalt - Fahnenflucht

Ich würde niemals einen Menschen schlagen, schon gar nicht ins Gesicht,

auf ner Demo nie mit Steinen schmeißen, denn das gehört sich nicht!

Es ist noch gar nicht lange her, da hab auch ich das so gesehen,

heut glaub ich nicht mehr fest daran, denn es ist so viel geschehen.

Ich würde viel lieber gewaltfrei leben, würd gerne friedlich sein,

ich kanns nicht mehr als Grundsatz sehen, die Wirklichkeit holt mich ein,

Bin froh, wenn es gewaltfrei läuft, ohne Hass zu propagieren,

doch es gibt einfach Momente, da muss man halt die Angst verlieren:

Gewalt ist keine Lösung, trotzdem kann sie Mittel sein, drum schließe nicht die

Augen,

es kann bald schon so weit sein, musst ja nicht gleich schlagen,

nur die Angst musst du verlieren!

Doch Gewalt heißt nicht nur austeilen, das darf man nicht übersehen,

zu oft zieht man den kürzeren und muss es überstehen,

ich hab Angst vor Schmerzen, hab Angst vor jedem Tritt,

sind sie zu fünft gegen einen, hab ich Angst vor dem ersten Schritt,

tausend mal hab ich es mir vorgestellt, um nicht ganz so überrascht zu sein,

kann ich meine Angst überwinden, greif ich dann auch ein,

doch wenn ichs mir recht überlege, lieg ich lieber im Krankenhaus,

denn ein leben voller Scham und Zweifel halt' ich bestimmt nicht aus!

Never throw stones at a demo, because that's not right!

It wasn't that long ago that I saw it that way too

Today I no longer believe in it, because so much has happened.

I would much rather live non-violently, would rather be peaceful,

I can no longer see it as a principle, reality is catching up with me

I'm happy if it's non-violent, without propagating hatred,

but there are just moments when you just have to lose your fear:

Violence is not a solution, but it can still be a means, so don't close it

Eyes,

it could be soon, you don't have to hit right away,

you just have to lose the fear!

But violence doesn't just mean handing it out, you shouldn't overlook that,

too often you lose out and have to survive,

I'm afraid of pain, afraid of every step

if they are five against one, I am afraid of the first step,

I imagined it a thousand times so as not to be so surprised

If I can overcome my fear, then I also intervene

but when I think about it, I'd rather be in the hospital

because I definitely can't stand a life full of shame and doubts!
