Radio silence is the cage

I find myself inside

Scanning through an ocean

For ripples in the tide

I’m a weightless vibration

Rising from the depth

Trying to make it to the surface

To take another breathe

Daylight is a trick of my mind

But it still burns my skin

So I dive down again

The years grow longer in silence

Until the meaning is lost

And the transmission attenuates

In the void of cold dark space

It’s time I faced the facts

I think I’ve lost the signal

I stay focused on the sound

For as long as I can listen

The radiating swell of extreme isolation

Has stranded me on the frequency

As the wave oscillates

The daylight at dawn

Is a golden simulation

That will synchronize the day
