Estava anoitecendo

E, depois do jantar

Eu saí de casa

Pra meu broto encontrar

Mas minha alegria

Num instante se acabou

Pois vi uma coisa

Que muito me assustou

Um disco voador

No céu estava brilhando

Na rua as mulheres

Estavam desmaiando

Então eu disparei

Ladeira abaixo a correr

Com medo que algo

Pudesse acontecer

Deixei para trás

Cinco carros no caminho

E tropecei em cima

De uma moita de espinhos

Mas consegui chegar

Em casa do meu amor

E expliquei a ela:

Vi um disco voador

Então toda família

Foi pra rua espiar

O objeto estava

Lá em cima a brilhar

E eu pude notar

Que os pais do meu amor

Olhavam com alegria

Para o disco voador

Então o meu brotinho

Veio e me abraçou

Chegando bem pertinho

Bem baixinho explicou

Que ela era de Marte

E que agora ia voltar

E que só morou na Terra

Para poder descansar

O disco então baixou

E a família embarcou

E o meu brotinho

Tão sozinho me deixou

E hoje quando vejo

No céu uma estrela brilhando

Eu sei que o meu brotinho

Está lá me esperando
