Un altro giorno passa via e ti ritrovi ancora

Lungo la stessa ferrovia

Che ti colora il mondo e gli attimi

Come il fuoco di paglia che dà

Il calore che ti avvolge

Non puoi tornare indietro più

Nemmeno lo vorresti

Non ti ricordi chi sei tu

Ma non avresti niente in cambio;no

Tu non avresti nemmeno la gente

Che trovi nella notte

Si ferma il tempo sulla strada

Per tutto il tempo che vorrai

E ti nascondi;

Domani accada quel che accada

E' già così lontano il mondo

Ma tra un istante dormirò

Con l’altra madre che io ho

Non c'è risposta né perché

Ma solo voglia e crampi

Alla mattina col caffè;

Fuori di casa inciampi subito

Nella caccia al tesoro, ma c'è

Quella medesima domanda

E un caldo dolcemente sale

Era così veloce il mondo
