Вот так проходит

Земная слава.

Империи, годы.

Сияют монархи,

И гибнут народы

В походах за веру,

Чума, инквизиция,

Армия, тюрьмы,

Суды и полиция.

Ветер сдует пыль,

Волна смоет прах.

Чей пепел струится

В песочных часах?

Грехов не прощает

Зануда-история —

Как ржой на железе
